Of course I wasn't surprised that I loved it given that I have been a fan of this series from the very first book, Tuesday's Child. These books all follow the same format: Fold out maps, then general information about the city. 5/27/16 As of this date, I have only read the Laura Levine story as a part of her series with the Jaine Austen character. It allows an in-depth understanding of the key historical knowledge, terms and concepts relevant to the period studied and encourages the critical use of evidence in investigating and assessing historical questions in the associated enquiry: 'England and a New Century c1900-1918'. Still a few hasty resolutions here and there, but overall much better. While often such an approach is a disguise for denigrating the Bible as the authoritative Word of God, it's good to know that Wright is solidly orthodox and makes use of such contexts because he believes them necessary in order to read the Bible well today.
