This is an excellent book for any bird owner especially african grays - I highly recommend it and it is a must for first time bird owners. This is one of the books that fails in the repetitive category, from repeated titles and other tidbits to repeating plot points that happened earlier as though they didn't happen. All this comes together to make this a worthwhile read, more than the drama. I just sat there and had a huge smile on my face. It's just a fun great read. Reading it a second time really helped and I understood it so much better the second time around.
